I would recommend getting a heavy kettlebell, and then you can use it for deadlifts, squats and swings. You should be able to clean a decent amount of weight to make front squats valuable — just do some higher rep sets. Question on partial squats… I had knee surgery and my ortho told me squatting in general is tough on the knee caps, but squatting past parallel is reeeally bad for them. I try to focus just on my workout and not judge other people, but I do judge trainers if they have their clients train like this! Can you explain the benefits — why your coach wanted you to do them for the van pull? Speaking of squats, in a week I will no longer have access to the gym.
